Style 65 | Compression Fittings

Product Features:

Galvanized Dresser Coupling such as Style 65, have been used in connecting and sealing pipe joints for many years. They employ the same sealing principle that was developed by Dresser in 1891.The resilient Dresser gasket provides permanent flexibility and provides pipeline protection from vibration and expansion-contraction movements. Galvanized Dresser Coupling provides shielding from elements and rust prevention for years in service. Style 65 compression fittings save time and money by assembling quickly onto the pipe with no threading, flaring or exact pipe fitting required.

NOTE. Regular Style 65 galvanized Dresser coupling and fitting should not be used for temperatures over 150 °F.

Materials:

Style 65 galvanized dresser coupling bodies are made of either steel or malleable iron; all coupling and fitting bodies that are constructed of malleable iron conform to ANSI specifications for 150 psi rated fittings. The gasket retainer ring is made of steel. As I paid for overnight delivery I received the Two fittings 10 days later and the fittings were rusted.

Just What Our Customer Needed

Those syle of Dressor's are not easy to find out there. We used to use this style for the 2" x 1-1/2" swage pipe reducer assemblies for the reverse air-pulse system years ago with our production. We cut those Dressor Couplings in half, and weld those cut ends to the side of the steel filter housing. Of course, with the rubber ring gasket removed. Thank you Trupply for having those in stock, and also reasonably priced, too.

Awesome product... just expensive

Love the compression fitting... it's a game changer for converting galvanized steel to pex or copper. The product is made of stainless steel high quality... which the price reflects this.
